Safe Havens for Little People has been fortunate to be able to partner with and be sponsored by a wide range of businesses and service organizations.

Chevy's
Chevy's has joined with Safe Havens in conjunction with the Helping Hands 911 project to provide Healing Gift Baskets to the family members of 9/11 victims. Chevy's donated 15% on the Net proceeds from each receipt during a special fund raising program for Safe Havens.

Varian

With substantial help from Varian Analytical Instruments in Walnut Creek, Karen Justice-Guard opened Express Yourself Bistro, an employee cafeteria, catering service and training ground for people trying to learn a trade so they can leave welfare.

Faith Community

Pastor Don Smith, senior pastor of the Living Way Foursquare Church in Concord, believes in being involved in his community. He says, 'if our community is to be safe, friendly, and prosperous, then we need to take an active position to bring positive change. If we are passive we become a part of the problem and not the solution. It is our responsibility to become a part of the solution."

Rossmore

Recently Safe Havens for Little People has been given the opportunity to open a bistro in Rossmore California. This bistro employs the people in our program as well as providing a service to the Rossmore community. Safe Havens is grateful to Rossmore for allowing us the opportunity to become part of their family.

Express Yourself Gifts

Express Yourself Gifts operates a factory that manufactures various items to sell to the public. This factory is staffed by the people in our program and serves two purposes. The first is to provide jobs for the women in our programs and the second is to prepare them to be part of the work force in our society.

Jenni Originals
Jenni Originals (JO) is a manufacturer of all-natural vegetable and soybean based candles based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in Los Angeles in 1999 by Jennifer and Darren Owan, the company was created as an outgrowth of Jennifer's passion and artistry in candle making combined with the knowledge that soybean wax candles presented a cost-effective and healthier alternative to traditional paraffin candles.

Express Yourself Bistro
Express Yourself Bistro started with a dream... a dream of empowering women, and teaching them self-sufficiency through on-the-job training. In addition to being a source of funds, it is also a  facility for battered women and women on welfare to get job training and job placement.

The Hall of Fame Players Association
The Hall of Fame Players Association has joined forces with Safe Havens to sponsor upcoming golf tournaments to benefit Safe Havens.
